My brother and I ended up getting a 2 bedroom / 1 bath unit right by the Bay. We moved in a week ago with the help of a couple friends of mine from Chicago who just so happened to be visiting that weekend. Lucky them. We live on the top floor, which is nice cause you get high ceilings but with no elevator, it was a real bitch to move in. One room was significantly larger than the other, along with its own sink and partial view of the bay so we bid to see who was willing to pay more for the room. I ended up getting the bigger room but at a cost of $100 more per month in rent than the smaller room.

There’s something unattractive about being 24, single, and living with your parents. The days are starting to blend together and I’m afraid one day I’ll find myself in my 40’s, still living at home, still single. It’s about time I find another place to live and hopefully regain some semblence of a normal adult life. My brother and I stopped by this really nice apartment complex — about $12-1500 per month depending on the floorplan for an unfurnished, 2-bedroom unit. Here are some pictures.
