Looking at Christian’s web stats, I noticed he was getting a lot of hits from people who found his site through various keywords such as: camcock, haylie duff nose, where does haylie duff shop, rex grossman jewish, and other gems. As an experiment, I’m going to see how many more hits I’ll get as a result of blogging about hilary duff’s nipples, breasts, vagina, mariah carey, josie maran, lindsay lohan, jessica simpson, ashlee simpson, nude, teen, sex, free, pics, download, movies, doggy style, erection, enlarge, technique, celebrity, natalie portman, scandalous, sex tape, torrents, unlimited, pussy, see through, golden shower, nip slip.

Last night, my sibs and I went to a local puppy store to see what they had available. Most of these puppies were around 2-3 months old and cost about $1300. I almost bought a papillon but I was torn between that and the yorkshire. I’ll have to think about it some more and figure out all the things I’ll have to buy (cage, leash, flea collar) before I settle down on one. I expect to have a dog by the end of January.

According to this Y! News article, some parents are upset that Chris Rock revealed to the world in his TV sitcom that… (gasp)… Santa doesn’t exist! Aren’t there more important things in life to be worried/pissed about… like having Bush in office for another four years? How healthy is it exactly to have your child believe in something, only to be told later on they were lied to? On a side note, it’s really sad most people associate Christmas more with commercial symbols than its true origins. Jesus who?

As many of you already know and are probably tired of hearing me talk about it, I got a mac mini over the weekend. My experience up to this point with macs has been nil other than the imacs we used in high school (1996-1999) and I was not too impressed to say the least. Since then, however, Apple has come out with Mac OS X which I have heard great things about from both Windows and Linux users alike. Having used linux extensively over the last year as part of my job as a systems/network administrator, I was quickly enamored by the fact that OS X is based off of BSD.
The mac mini I got came with an 80GB hard drive but after awhile, I realized this was not nearly enough capacity to use the mini for what I intended — editing video, recording music, programming, and using it as an HTPC. Scouring the deals pages on the net, I found a 300GB firewire hd on sale at bestbuy for $150 after rebate. The froogle low was $220. Not bad I thought so I went ahead and bought it. Turns out, the hd is roughly the same size as the mac mini so it’s not too intrusive when I stack them up together. (see picture below)

I’m considering buying another 300gb hd to stack on top of this but let’s wait and see how poker goes this month.

Poker blogs are boring. I really tried to avoid writing one on my new blog but Christian forced my hand. That fucker.

My friend Christian and I played a $30+3 speed NL tournament on partypoker in which there were 538 entrants with a total prizepool of $16,140 and $3873.60 going to first place. We started with 1000 in chips with blinds increasing every 3 minutes. Christian ended up in 137th place and I ended up in 23rd. It paid out to 60 players and I pocketed $104-$33 for my finish.
When it was down to about 40-50 players, I was the chipleader with 60k in chips, blinds at 10k/20k, with the table playing seven handed. The BB was all in for $13k, the SB was in for $10k but had $15k left if he folded. I’m holding K9o and two people fold to me. There’s 3 players behind me that are left to act. They have $28k, $4.1k, and $25k in chips. I know that K high is a favorite against a random hand heads up so I decide to push all in to isolate the BB. My thinking was that even if I lose to the BB, it would only cost me $13k, leaving me with $47k in chips. If I won, I’d have $83k in chips and one less person left in the tournament. If the guy with $4.1k called me, and I lost, same result. So the only people I was worried about were the $28k and $25k stacks. If they called, and I lost I’d still have a decent amount of chips to work with so I figured I could afford to gamble. If they called and I won, I’d have a monster stack. Well, I pushed all-in and the $28k stack called, and everyone else folded so it was down to just the three of us. BB was holding JJ, and the caller was holding 88. At this point, I just wanted to win the sidepot to break even. K9 vs. 88 is practically a coinflip so I wasn’t too disappointed with the matchup. Unfortunately, the board missed me and I was down to $31k. The blinds quickly rose and I was out in 23rd place when the blinds got to $30k/$60k and I was in the SB. Not much you can do in these speed touranments if you can’t win your blinds. Ultimately, I don’t think that K9o hand would’ve made a difference. Another extra $30k would’ve been quickly swallowed up by the enormous blinds anyway. I might’ve placed a little higher but it would still be up to the pokergods whether I would’ve made the final table.
Anyway, here’s the pokerhand for those interested:

So I saw some before and after pictures of the contestants from NBC’s The Biggest Loser and the physical changes were quite remarkable.
Now that I’m living in a new apartment complex w/ a fitness center overlooking Tampa Bay, I don’t have much of an excuse anymore to continue on in my sedentary ways.
I currently weigh in at 180lbs but the plan is to drop at least 20 lbs in the next couple of months. My plan at the moment is to do cardio in the mornings (15-30 min), weight training in the evenings, and watch my caloric intake. To make things a little more exciting, I have a friend who may be willing to wager $500 that I fail in this pursuit of mine.
